Sunjuice Limited was established in 1987 as part of the Group’s diversification thrust.  The company started out as a joint venture in August 1987, and the first sale was made for £12. Today, Sunjuice Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jamaica Producers Group Ltd.  It is the UK’s market leader in the high quality, short shelf life segment of the juice and smoothies market.  Sunjuice has expanded its product range to include high quality juices, drinks and smoothies ranging over the full spectrum of shelf life (short to long) and various types of packaging (PET, TetraPak and glass bottles).   The company is a major private label manufacturer for leading UK supermarkets, and produces the Sunjuice brand of fresh fruit juices and smoothies available in major coffee shops, sandwich bars and convenience stores.

With its world class manufacturing facilities, innovation, high quality products and excellent customer service, Sunjuice continues to increase market share and maintain its position as a market leader in the United Kingdom.

In 2002, Sunjuice won the World Juice Innovation Award of the World Juice Organisation, an industry group.
